Romans 1:17: For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith
from first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by faith."
Romans 3:23-24: This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through
the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Romans 4:25: He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.
Romans 8:31: ... If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 10:9: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save
the world through Him.
Leviticus 19:15: Do not pervert justice; do not show pariality to the poor or favourtism to the great,
but judge your neighbour fairly.
Proverbs 1:7: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.
Proverbs 3:27: Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.
Proverbs 3:31-32: Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways, for the LORD detests a perverse
man but takes the upright into his confidence.
Proverbs 4:23: Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.
1 Corinthians 13: If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding
gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have
a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender
my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is
not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices
with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled;
where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes,
the imperfection disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like
a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror;
then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now
these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.
John 15:13: Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
Proverbs 20:6: Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find?
Proverbs 20:15: Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
Proverbs 27:17: As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
Proverbs 28:4: Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but those who keep the law resist them.
Proverbs 29:7: The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
Proverbs 12:16: A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult.
More to come in the future
